Biography
1964 Born in Zurich, Switzerland – In my early childhood I travelled extensively through Europe with my parents (France, Denmark, Sweden, Germany)
1982 – 1986 Attended the Swiss College for Dance and Ballet, Zurich, Switzerland (stage performances with local group)
1980 – 1992 Traveled to Israel, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Turkey, West Indies, and Tunisia. These extensive trips developed an interest and passion for Folk Art and History in foreign countries.
1983 - 1985 Modeled for Hungarian painter Laszlo Schwalm
1987 Studied at Alvin Ailey Dance School, New York, NY
1988 -1990 Attended the Swiss College of Fine Art Zurich, Switzerland (courses and studies in pencil drawing)
1988 - 1994 Worked as a Fashion Stylist and Display Artist for Fein-Kaller (Men’s Clothing Retailer), Feldpausch (Women’s Clothing Retailer), and Vilan Department Store
1992 - 1993 Performed live at the Bimbo Town Club in Basel, Switzerland, with British Installation Artist Jim Whiting
1994 Relocated to San Luis Obispo, CA
1995 - 1998 Attended Cuesta College, San Luis Obispo, CA. Studied English, Painting, Drawing, sculpture, and Ceramics. Received Best of Show Award for Wood Sculpture.
1998 - 2001 Attended California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, CA. Received Faculty Honors Scholarship. Studied Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking, multiple painting Collaborations with Swiss Artist Kurt Weber
2002 Departed the San Francisco Bay Area due to lack of employment opportunities
2004 - 2005 Studied as an Artist in Residence at the Montana Artist Refuge (MAR), Basin, MT
2006 - Present Currently creating oil paintings in my Montana Art Studio
